Staging of the Young Poland movement modernist drama by Stanisław Przybyszewski.

The arrival of Eva, Thaddeus's former love, destroys the peace of his marriage with Bronka. Does the repressed have to finally show up? Is a great affection a weakness or is it a manifestation of strength? What makes us to destroy our loved ones, our own organized life, ourselves?

The play contains excerpts from Ecclesiastes (trans. into Polish by Władysław Karbowicz) and Metamorphoses or The Golden Ass of Apuleius (trans. into Polish by Edwin Jędrkiewicz).
