Three Sisters

Jan Englert is once again directing the works of Anton Chekhov.

Three Sisters is considered one of the most important plays in the world drama canon.
Olga, Masza and Irina live in a provincial town, not knowing whether they will manage to break out into the big world, settle their lives happily there or remain in eternal unfulfilling.

„The music is so gay, so joyful, and, it seems that in a little while we shall know why we are living, why we are suffering… If we could only know, if we could only know!”
