Alice's Wonderland

Have you ever quarrelled with Time or visited a forest where things have no names? Isn’t it weird that the body of a Snap-Dragonfly is made of plum pudding?

Alice’s Wonderland is a musical performance based on the famous novel by Lewis Carroll. Together with Alice’s son, we embark on a journey through the maze that is memory, where a human (or perhaps the Mock Turtle?) can fold up or extend like a telescope. Humpty Dumpty explains what ‘borogoves’ and ‘raths’ are. The Queen of Hearts plays croquet with mallets made with live flamingoes. In the well of childhood, and in the graveyard of clocks, we discover jars of orange marmalade and, above all, a recipe for saving the world from oblivion.
Songs are performed live by The Mad Hatters Orchestra, with lyrics by Sławomir Narloch set to music by Jakub Gawlik.

The performance is recommended for parents with children over 10 years old.

The performance based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There by Lewis Carroll translated by Maciej Słomczyński. The name of the character Mock Turtle translated by Antoni Marianowicz.
